Job summary

WOLA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking aPurchasing/Procurement assistant in Singapore to manage daily purchasing for food ingredients, supplies and operational items at Far East Square.

You will compare quotations, prepare POs and coordinate deliveries with suppliers and internal teams. The role requires 1–2 years of purchasing experience, familiarity with F&B procurement, Mandarin communication ability, and proficiency with MS Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred.
• Experience in F&B or restaurant purchasing is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin for communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers and HQ team.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage urgent purchasing requests.
• Comfortable travelling locally to purchase, collect and carry operational items when required.
• Able to commit to a 6-day workweek.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing and sourcing of food ingredients, supplies and operational items.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on purchasing requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and monitor inventory needs.
• Assist with urgent off-site purchasing and collection of items when required.
• Perform other purchasing-related duties assigned by management.
