Job summary

DAY ONE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily F&B outlet operations in Singapore. You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, drive service excellence, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, manpower planning, cost control, and the ability to implement promotions and initiatives to boost sales and customer satisfaction. On-site role based in Singapore with occasional events support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the F&B outlet(s), ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the service and operations team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Manage manpower planning, staff scheduling, deployment, attendance, and operational coverage.
• Monitor outlet sales, productivity, operating costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive sales and revenue through effective upselling, promotions, and operational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and company operating standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and overall outlet presentation.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and implement appropriate follow-up actions.
• Monitor inventory levels, ordering, stock control, wastage, and cost management.
• Work closely with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure efficient coordination between front and back of house.
• Conduct regular operational checks and ensure company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development.
• Prepare and review operational reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support the management team in implementing new initiatives, promotions, events, and business strategies.
• Assist with outlet opening and closing procedures and ensure proper cash and operational controls.
• Perform other operational duties and projects as assigned by management.
