Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to design and optimize multilayer boards for RF/microwave and high-speed digital applications.

The role focuses on controlled impedance, stack-up accuracy, and manufacturability. You will translate schematics into manufacturable layouts, define stack-ups, and perform DRC/DFM reviews, ensuring quality and producibility in collaboration with fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on PCB layout experience.
• Experience with controlled impedance and multilayer stack-ups.
• Proficiency with PCB CAD tools and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Design multilayer PCB layouts with controlled impedance and stack-up requirements
• Translate schematic requirements into manufacturable board layouts with design and process teams
• Define and validate stack-up, traces, and impedance per SI requirements
• Perform DRC and DFM reviews prior to release
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly partners to address manufacturability issues
• Maintain layout libraries, footprints, and documentation standards

Our client, an established manufacturing group serving customers in the electronics and technology industries

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design multilayer PCB layouts to controlled impedance and defined stack-up requirements for RF/microwave and high-speed digital circuits
• Translate schematic and engineering requirements into manufacturable board layouts, working closely with design and process engineering teams
• Define and validate stack-up configurations, trace routing, and impedance control in line with signal integrity requirements
• Perform design rule checks (DRC) and design-for-manufacture (DFM) reviews prior to release
• Work with fabrication and assembly partners to resolve layout-related manufacturability issues
• Maintain layout libraries, footprints, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on PCB layout experience, with demonstrated work on controlled impedance and multilayer stack-up designs
• Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of signal integrity principles and RF layout considerations
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
