Recruit123 is currently partnering with a leading semiconductor manufacturing organization to hire an Equipment Engineer specializing in Etch or Photolithography. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee advanced wafer fabrication toolsets, drive equipment uptime, and implement continuous improvements in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining, maintaining, and optimizing dry/wet etch tools or photolithography equipment (scanners, steppers, coaters/developers) to achieve maximum availability and yield.
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include leading root-cause failure analyses on chronic tool alarms, managing scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) programs, and supervising equipment technicians on the fab floor.
You will partner closely with process engineers to address defectivity and wafer scrap, manage vendor relationships for parts replacement and field engineering support, and drive cost-reduction initiatives through secondary sourcing and parts life-extension programs.
Additionally, you will support tool hook-up, installation, modification, and qualification for facility expansions or tech node transitions.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 2 to 5 years of equipment maintenance experience within a semiconductor wafer fab cleanroom.
Proven hands-on technical proficiency on major OEM equipment platforms is strongly preferred. You must possess strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving skills (8D, FMEA), and the adaptability to support on-call rotation or production ramp schedules.
