Job summary

Recruit123 is seeking an Equipment Engineer specializing in Etch or Photolithography to oversee wafer fabrication toolsets, drive uptime, and implement continuous improvements in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will sustain and optimize dry/wet etch tools or photolithography equipment, lead root-cause analyses on alarms, manage PM programs, and mentor technicians on the fab floor. Collaborate with process engineers and vendors to reduce costs and support expansions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with 2–5 years of equipment maintenance in semiconductor wafer fab.
• Proven hands-on proficiency on major OEM equipment platforms and strong diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain, maintain, and optimize dry/wet etch tools or photolithography equipment to maximize uptime and yield.
• Lead root-cause failure analyses on chronic tool alarms; manage PM programs; supervise fab technicians.
• Collaborate with process engineers to address defectivity and wafer scrap; manage vendor relationships for parts.
• Drive cost-reduction via secondary sourcing and parts life-extension programs.
• Support tool hook-up, installation, modification, and qualification for expansions or tech node transitions.
