Job summary

VFI Food Pte Ltd. is seeking an Export & Import Coordinator to support daily coordination of shipments, documentation, and logistics arrangements.

You will work closely with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, warehouse, production, procurement and sales teams to ensure accurate processing and on-time delivery. The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field and 1–4 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in Singapore Customs/TradeNet and MS

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade or related discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in import/export, shipping, logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
• Experience in import/export documentation and shipment tracking.
• Familiarity with Singapore Customs, TradeNet procedures is advantageous.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, food trading or related industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SFA requirements or food import permits is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP/WMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day export/import shipments, bookings, delivery arrangements and tracking.
• Prepare and maintain import/export documents: invoices, packing lists, BLs, COOs.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs and customers on shipments.
• Assist with Singapore Customs / TradeNet declarations and permits where required.
• Coordinate cargo availability and delivery schedules with warehouse and production.
• Monitor status and follow up on delays and issues.
• Maintain shipment records and filing for audits.
• Check freight invoices against rates and documents before payment submission.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely documents and approvals.
• Support ERP/WMS updates and data accuracy related to shipments.
