Job summary

BERJAYA BUILDCON PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support the project team in coordinating activities, documentation, materials, subcontractors and site requirements to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

The role involves coordinating with consultants and suppliers, monitoring progress, maintaining records, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality policies on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in daily project coordination.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Monitor work progress and update project schedules and status reports.
• Coordinate drawings, RFIs, material submissions, method statements and approvals.
• Ensure the latest approved drawings and documents are available to the site team.
• Follow up on material deliveries, procurement requirements and subcontractor works.
• Attend project and site coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Assist in resolving site coordination and technical issues.
• Maintain proper project records, correspondence, reports and documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and rectification of defects.
• Support preparation of progress reports, handover documents and as-built records.
• Comply with company policies, quality procedures and Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
