Job summary

BERJAYA BUILDCON PTE. LTD. is looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities on the worksite in Singapore. The role involves supervising daily operations, coordinating crews and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.

You will monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timely completion while maintaining quality. The position requires strong communication with contractors, consultants, and the project team to uphold safety and project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising daily site activities and coordinating crew.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and safety rules.
• Ability to read drawings and follow specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities.
• Allocate and monitor workers, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor daily progress and report delays or site issues to management.
• Check workmanship and ensure defects are promptly rectified.
• Coordinate work sequences and interfaces between trades.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available for scheduled works.
• Conduct daily site checks and maintain proper site records.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and the project team.
• Enforce good housekeeping and proper storage of materials.
• Ensure workers follow safe work procedures, use required PPE and comply with WSH requirements.
• Attend toolbox meetings and site coordination meetings.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents and construction problems immediately.
• Assist with project completion, testing, defect rectification and handover.

Job description

1. To assit PM for the construction activities that take place on the worksite.


2. Involved in planning, organizing and controlling projects.


3. To support the entire work progress till completion of projects.


4. To supervise, coordinate and work togther with the contractors Supervisor shall responsible for supervising daily construction activities, workers and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and according to approved drawings, specifications and quality in addiotn adhre to WSH safety and health requirements.
