Job summary
PERSONNEL LINK JOBHUB PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation Engineer to own and optimize in-house automation across manufacturing lines.
You will program FANUC/ABB/Nachi/Stäubli robots, develop PLC/HMI software across Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms, and integrate vision systems and MES interfaces. Proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D CAD is required, with strong cross-functional collaboration. Willing to be based in Latvia on an expat package; monthly salary plus housing allowances and a variable
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of industrial automation experience in high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on programming and troubleshooting with multiple robot brands.
Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of in-house automation equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot FANUC, ABB, Nachi and Stäubli robots.
- Develop PLC/HMI software across brands (Siemens emphasized).
- Integrate machine vision, sensors and readers.
- Design parts and drawings with SolidWorks and 2D CAD.
- Lead automation projects from concept to stabilization.
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, IT/MES.
- Train technical teams and support continuous improvement.
