Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Automation and Control) / Software Engineer to design and develop software for automated equipment in a leading design/manufacturing firm.

You will translate specifications into robust software, document design decisions, and maintain legacy codes while coordinating with customers on control requirements and on-site commissioning. Travel overseas is possible, and the role offers good career progression.

Qualifications

Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ Computer science or related discipline.
Preferably with 2 – 3 years of experience in PC Programming (e.g. Visual C#)
Familiar with various motions system or automation devices (e.g. IAI, Yasakawa)
PLC Knowledge (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff) or other type of machine programming
Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have positive attitude
Creative thinker, results orientated, focused and attentive to details & accuracy
Able to travel overseas at short notice

Responsibilities

Design and develop software for automated equipment based on specification and requirements
Write design documentation to communicate functions of the developed programs
Maintain, review and improve legacy codes and features
Liaise with customer on control requirement and commissioning of the software in customer site
