Job summary

GLC Recycle PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a logistics professional to manage supply chain and operations tasks, including regulatory liaison, freight arrangements, and inventory oversight. The role requires 1 year of relevant experience and attention to detail.

You will work closely with factories, forwarders, and customers, handling shipping documents, contracts, and data accuracy, while supporting procurement and sales teams and ensuring timely, compliant trade operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge and experience in import/export procedures is an advantage.
• Independent, self-starter, responsible and initiative.
• Detail-oriented & meticulous.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government agencies for licenses, permits, approvals and trade agreements for import/export.
• Arrange freight shipments with forwarders.
• Liaise with factories, freight forwarders and warehouses.
• Forecast, track and manage warehouse inventories.
• Prepare purchase/sales contracts, invoices and shipping documents.
• Maintain records of all trade transactions and shipping documentation.
• Track and update purchase, sales and shipping information; prepare operational reports.
• Prepare shipping documents and support procurement/sales teams.
• Forecast and track expenses; assist trade operations manager when needed.
• Handle client onboarding and communications with overseas/local counterparts, sellers and customers.

Main functions and responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

• Liaison with government agencies/authorities for all regulatory requirements including (but not limited to) licenses, permits/approvals, and trade agreements etc in import/export of goods and materials
• Arrangement of freight shipments with forwarders
• Liaison with factories, freight forwarders and warehouses
• Forecast, track and manage warehouse inventories

Operations Management

• Preparation of purchase/sales contracts, invoices, confirmations, bills of lading and other documents
• Maintain accurate records of all trade transactions and shipping documentation
• Track and update purchase, sales and shipping information Preparation of operational reports
• Preparation of shipping documents
• Update daily data and support procurement/sales team where necessary
• Handle purchase and sales process from beginning to end
• Work closely with Financiers and provide all necessary documents and information required
• Forecast and track expenses
• To assist trade operations manager in any tasks

Stakeholders Management

• Support as and when required, client onboarding process, and static data maintenance.
• Handle queries and communications with overseas and local counterparts, sellers and customers

Skills/Requirements

• 1 year of experience in similar position
• Candidates with knowledge and experience in import and export procedures are an advantage.
