Job summary

VITAL in Singapore seeks a Senior Executive/Executive in Corporate Finance to support financial operations, payroll administration and controls. You will analyse data, review exceptions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely operations in line with prevailing policies and guidelines.

This role involves supporting payroll, AR/AP, and financial reporting processes, with emphasis on process improvement, automation and compliance within a government-aligned corporate services framework.〉

Qualifications

• Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline, or relevant work experience in finance or payroll operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, exceptions and improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power Query, Power BI or automation tools is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Meticulous, able to manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take on ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration: end-to-end processing for all staff categories, including new hires and exits.
• Review payroll reports, investigate discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
• Process and verify staff claims according to policies and guidelines.
• Analyze payroll and claims exceptions and recommend follow-up actions.
• Manage payroll recoveries, staff arrears, and receipts processing.
• Accounts Receivable: prepare and issue invoices with supporting docs.
• Monitor outstanding payments and issue reminders; track deposits.
• Support accounts payable processing and month-end/year-end activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial data and exception reports.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls.
• Support audits, year-end closing, and other Corporate Finance initiatives.

What the role is:

As a Senior Executive / Executive in Corporate Finance, you will support VITAL’s financial operations, payroll administration and financial controls. Beyond transaction processing, you will be expected to analyse financial data, review exceptions, identify process improvement opportunities and work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial operations, in compliance with prevailing policies and guidelines.

What you will be working on:

Payroll Administration- Assist in end-to-end payroll processing for all staff categories, including new hires, exits and bonus and ad-hoc payments- Review payroll reports and exception cases, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution.- Process and verify staff claims in accordance with prevailing policies and guidelines.- Analyse payroll and claims exceptions, identify trends and recommend appropriate follow-up actions- Manage payroll-related recoveries, staff arrears and receipt processingAccounts Receivable- Prepare and issue invoices with supporting documentation- Monitor outstanding payments and issue timely reminders- Track and reconcile incoming receipts and deposits.- Analyse receivable trends and exception cases, and support follow up actions to improve collection outcomes.Financial Operations/ Controls- Support accounts payable processing, journal preparation and month-end/year-end financial activities.- Prepare and analyse financial data and exception reports.- Perform quarterly claims analysis and periodic financial reviews.- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and leverage automation or digital tools.- Support audits, year-end financial closing processes, reporting requirements, and other Corporate Finance initiatives asrequired

What we are looking for:

• - Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline, or relevant work experience in finance or payroll operations
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, exceptions and improvement opportunities.
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Power Query, Power BI or automation tools will beadvantageous.
• - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
