Job summary

Singapore Airlines is seeking a Human Resources professional to support workforce development, focusing on internal mobility and placement readiness, partnering with Business Units to identify staff for coaching and skilling, and tracking programme outcomes.

You will deliver career advisory services, perform competency-based role matching, drive placement conversations, and coordinate training to improve employee readiness across SIA Group companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and business partnering.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to drive follow-ups and closure.
• Strong communication skills to explain processes to managers and employees; tactful handling of change-sensitive cases.
• Good project management capability (timelines, milestones, risks, deliverables).
• Comfortable with data tracking, dashboarding and reporting.
• Career coaching/advisory experience or certification is a plus.

• Own programme governance and performance reporting (trackers, dashboards, quarterly updates, action logs).

The successful candidate will be part of the Human Resources Division and will support workforce development initiatives focused on internal mobility and placement readiness. He/she will partner with the Business Units to identify staff requiring career coaching and skilling support and partner stakeholders to identify suitable opportunities, track and report programme outcomes to ensure effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver career support (Career Advisory/Coaching, Career Transition Programme enrolment) and drive participation.
• Perform competency-based role matching and advisory to line managers and employees
• Lead conversations with divisions, hiring managers and employees to align expectations and drive timely placement and development.
• Drive individualised skilling and placement plans, coordinating training/OJT/coaching to improve employees’ role readiness.
• Own internal placement pipeline and close placements by managing bottlenecks (skills mismatch, timing constraints), proposing alternatives, and brokering opportunities across SIA Group companies.
• Own programme governance and performance reporting (trackers, dashboards, quarterly updates, action logs); track KPIs, surface risks/insights, and drive corrective actions to closure.
