Job summary

X-Press Feeders is seeking an Executive in Singapore to act as the main contact between customers and the company. You will ensure reconciliation statements and invoices are sent to customers, and you will handle and resolve disputes efficiently, contributing to smooth billing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Shipping/ Logistics or similar specialization from a recognized institution.
• 2 to 3 years’ working experience in shipping industry. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel.
• Pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Understand the structure of each deal & items stated in the checklist prior preparing the reconciliation template.
• Close follow-up with Line Manager to ensure checklist is drawn up for each agreement prior the deal commences.
• Setup contract details in system together with billing instructions to facilitate correct invoicing.
• Update customers on monthly slot charges and ensure correct fixed slot invoices are issued promptly.
• Extract customers’ loading information and probe agents for data discrepancies.
• Submit reconciliation statements to customers on slot usage against commitments.
• Follow up for statement confirmation and timely invoice issuance.
• Handle queries raised by customers and resolve disputes independently.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Summary: As an Executive, you will be the point of contact between customers and X-press Feeders. You will need to ensure reconciliation statements and invoices are sent to customers and be able to handle and resolve disputes.

Reports to: Head of Revenue Process

Role and Responsibilities:

• Understand the structure of each deal & items stating in the checklist prior preparing the reconciliation template.
• Close follow-up with Line Manager to ensure checklist is drawn up for each agreement prior the deal commences, making sure the checklist is updated whenever there’s changes to the deal.
• Setup contract details in system together with billing instructions to facilitate correct invoicing to customers.
• Update customers on the monthly slot charges with bunker update & ensure correct fixed slot invoices issued promptly to customers.
• Extract customers’ loading information – to scrutinize the report & probe agents for clarification on any data discrepancies, also follow up to ensure system gets updated with correct records.
• Submit reconciliation statement to customers on their slot usage against their slot commitment, it has to be drawn up accurately & submit within stipulated timeframe.
• Follow up with customer for the statement confirmation & ensure accurate & timely issuance of invoices.
• Handle queries raised by customers & resolve the disputes independently.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Shipping/ Logistics or similar specialization from a recognized institution.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years’ working experience in shipping industry. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel.
• Detailed and meticulous and strong problem solving skills.
