GovTech in Singapore is seeking a procurement specialist to shape and drive the Authority’s procurement function within the finance team. You will advise on procurement governance, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value and controls.
You will partner with line departments to understand needs, develop strategies, manage end-to-end procurement, and support contract management and governance. The role emphasises data-driven reporting and stakeholder engagement.
You will be part of the finance team, playing a key role in shaping and driving the Authority’s procurement function. This is a dynamic role where you will support effective procurement governance, provide practical advice, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement policies, processes, and practices.
Procurement planning and advisory Partner with line departments to understand their needs, review specifications, and develop procurement strategies that meet project requirements. End-to-end procurement support Support the full procurement process, including preparing sourcing documents, evaluating submissions, seeking approvals, and managing contracts. Assist with contract management activities, such as monitoring contract expiry dates and following up on required actions. Governance and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Review procurement policies and work processes to keep them effective and relevant. Identify opportunities to add value, strengthen controls, introduce innovative solutions, and improve procurement practices.
