GovTech invites applications for a procurement role focused on supporting NYP’s procurement of goods and services across Schools and Corporate Departments. You will manage quotations, ITQ, RFQ and direct contracting, while upholding the public service procurement policy and robust documentation practices.
The successful candidate will leverage GeBIZ and Workday familiarity, demonstrate strong analytical thinking, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective procurement
Join a team of procurement professionals and work closely with NYP stakeholders on the procurement of a wide range of goods and services.
Procure goods/services for all Schools and Corporate Departments in NYP through Quotations (e.g. : Small-value Purchases (SVP) ,Invitation-to-Quote (ITQ), Request-for-Quotation (RFQ) and Direct Contracting) and Tenders. Adhere to established government procurement policies and procedures (Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement). Uphold strong documentation and record-management standards to support transparent and compliant procurement processes. Serve as a Business Partner to Schools and Departments, developing appropriate procurement strategies, providing procurement advice, handling contract management issues, and resolving matters promptly. Innovate and add value to the procurement process. Provide support for additional job-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Proven working experience with government procurement, and familiar with Government Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ, and Workday is preferred. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, meticulous and with an eye for details Good stakeholder management and excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to co-create solutions. Independent, able to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under tight timeline. Good team player, self-driven and service-oriented.
