Executive Management Trainee - Hotel Operations
As an Executive Management Trainee , you will be developed as a future hospitality leader through hands‑on exposure to the key operational and commercial functions of the hotel. Working closely with department heads and senior management, you will gain a broad understanding of hotel operations while progressively taking on greater responsibility, ownership, and leadership opportunities.
This programme is designed for individuals who are ambitious, commercially minded, and passionate about building a long-term career in hotel management.
What You Will Be Doing
- Gain cross‑functional exposure across key hotel departments, including Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Guest Experience, Sales & Marketing, and Finance
- Work closely with department heads and senior management to understand hotel operations, business performance, and management decision‑making
- Support the daily management of hotel operations, including manpower planning, resource allocation, service delivery, and operational coordination
- Assist in monitoring departmental performance, productivity, guest satisfaction, revenue, and cost control
- Participate in management meetings, operational reviews, briefings, training, and hotel‑wide initiatives
- Support VIP arrangements, special events, guest relations, and complex service recovery situations
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities, and work with relevant teams to implement effective solutions
- Take ownership of selected projects focused on improving guest experience, operational efficiency, revenue, or profitability
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost management, and key hotel performance indicators
- Develop leadership capabilities through team engagement, coaching, communication, and increasing operational responsibility
- Uphold Marriott brand standards while contributing to the individuality and character of the Tribute Portfolio brand
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, hygiene, sanitation, and operational standards where applicable
- Prepare operational reports, presentations, and recommendations to support management decision‑making
- Progressively take on greater responsibilities with the aim of preparing for future management positions
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Previous hotel, hospitality, internship, or relevant operational experience is preferred
- Strong ambition to build a long-term career in hotel management
- Demonstrated leadership potential, maturity, initiative, and sense of ownership
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Commercially curious with an interest in hotel performance, revenue, and profitability
- Proactive mindset with the confidence to identify opportunities and propose solutions
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable working across departments and with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Able to balance hands‑on operational involvement with a broader business perspective

- Able to start work within short notice
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
