Job summary

Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the supervisor in the Finance Department. The role focuses on timely closing of accounts, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work with the overseas finance team and auditors, handling budgeting, forecast, and tax matters while maintaining strong internal controls. The position requires a degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in finance operations.
• Hands-on with good eyes for details.
• Able to communicate effectively to various parties and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
• Prior working experience in REITs or public listed companies will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely closing of full set of accounts, including preparation of schedules and management reports, variance analysis of accounts, bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Check and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and supported in accounting system and file on timely manner.
• Be involved in the preparation of financial statements for audit, handling tax matters, budgeting and forecast, perform credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers.
• Ensure that all financial records are in compliance with respective local regulatory requirements, internal control requirements, as well as finance policies and procedures.
• Liaise with overseas finance team, inter-department, auditors, and external parties when required.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments when required.
