Job summary

Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd is recruiting for an Assistant / Manager, Finance (Consolidation and Reporting) based in Singapore. You will oversee month-end closing, intercompany reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly management and group statutory reporting.

You should be a Chartered Accountant with 5–6 years of relevant experience, familiar with Local GAAP and IFRS, and proficient in SAP, BPC, and Tagetik.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with a degree in Accountancy.
• 5–6 years of relevant/auditing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proficient in Local GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with SAP, BPC and Tagetik is advantageous.
• REIT reporting or real estate/financial services experience is a plus.

Assistant / Manager, Finance (Consolidation and Reporting) (Based in Singapore)

This position will be responsible for assigned portfolio in the Finance Department for Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (MPACT).

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month end closing, intercompany reconciliation and preparation of monthly management reporting.
• Support monthly/ quarterly management reporting and work with internal asset management team on analysing monthly/ quarterly/ year-to-date financial performance.
• Ensure timely preparation of full set of financial statements for group reporting and statutory audit, and manage the audit process, including liaising with auditors.
• Handle tax matters, including preparation of tax computations, working closely with tax consultants on tax computation/ filing submissions, and liaising with consultants and/or authorities on queries.
• Key driver for implementation of group policies, processes and systems.
• Support any other ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy from a recognised university, or its equivalent.
• At least 5 to 6 years of relevant and / or auditing experience with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Well-versed in Local GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in SAP and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and Tagetik would be highly advantageous.
• Candidates with prior experience in REIT reporting will have an added advantage.
• Experience in real estate or financial services industry is a clear advantage.
• Hands on finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent liaison with various parties such as inter-department teams, property accountants and auditors; hence good verbal and written communication skills are required.
