Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP is seeking a Business Analyst to accelerate Purchase-To-Pay and GL processes, translate requirements into functional specs, and document SOPs. You will identify workflow gaps, support end-user testing, and collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues.

The role involves training users, planning scenarios, and providing post-implementation support, with emphasis on clear communication and detailed documentation.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or related roles (fresh grads considered).
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills; proficient with Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Process Leads and Operations to support Purchase-To-Pay and GL activities; define scenarios and test scripts.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Specs and SOPs for rollout.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Capture and refine end-user workflows to support process improvement and usability.
• Train users and prepare testing scenarios; conduct test scripts and support UAT.
• Troubleshoot with Technical Team; track root causes and ensure timely bug resolution.
• Develop and update training materials and project documentation; provide post-implementation support.

Business & Process Analysis

• Partner with Process Leads and Operations teams to support Purchase-To-Pay and General Ledger activities, including defining business scenarios and preparing comprehensive test scripts.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into well-structured Functional Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for rollout.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the workflows and recommend process improvements.

User Engagement & Testing

• Capture, document, and refine end-user workflows to support process improvement and system usability.
• Prepare users for testing activities through training, scenario planning, and hands-on coaching.
• Conduct detailed system checks and develop test scripts for all testing phases, including critical functional tests.
• Support end users during early validation, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Collaboration & Issue Resolution

• Work closely with the Technical Team to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and track timely bug resolution.
• Assist users through re-testing cycles and ensure high-quality test outcomes.

Documentation, Training & Rollout

• Develop and update training materials, SOPs, and other project related documentation.
• Provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth transition, adoption, and issue follow-ups.

Job requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in related roles, preferably familiar in Purchase-To-Pay and bank reconciliation processes (Fresh graduates may also be considered).
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in documentation.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to facilitate user training and testing sessions.
• Prior experience with Aderant Expert is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a law firm environment is preferred.
