Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced events professional to welcome guests and support the planning and execution of meetings, events and corporate functions at our Singapore venue.

You will coordinate space setup, liaise with vendors and ensure smooth event delivery while maintaining high hospitality standards. The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality or related field and at least 3 years in hospitality, F&B, tourism or event coordination, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, F&B, tourism or event coordination.
• Proven experience in event coordination and vendor management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests and attendees with professional service.
• Handle enquiries and requests promptly.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, events and corporate functions.
• Coordinate event setup, including meeting rooms, furniture, equipment and other requirements.
• Liaise with vendors, caterers, AV technicians and other service providers to ensure timely and smooth event delivery.
• Monitor vendor setup and service quality during events and follow up on any issues.
• Conduct checks of event spaces and supporting areas to ensure they are clean, organised and professionally presented.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure seamless event operations.
• Prepare event notes, handover information and relevant documentation.
• Manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to last-minute requests during busy periods.
• Assist with inventory management of event supplies and materials.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of hospitality and venue presentation.
• Assist with moving chairs, tables, event equipment and other items when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
