Job summary

searchasia consulting pte. ltd. seeks a senior nursing leader to guide the division within a major hospital in Singapore. This executive role shapes strategy, policy and clinical standards across units, including ICU, theatres, maternity and wards.

The successful candidate will drive workforce development, infection prevention, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration with medical leadership to elevate patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a tertiary nursing/management qualification.
• Minimum 15 years in a hospital environment.
• Singapore Nursing Board Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the nursing division and contribute to hospital-wide planning, policies and operational decision-making as part of the Executive Management Team.
• Ensure consistently high standards of nursing care, patient safety and service excellence across all clinical units, including critical care, operating theatres, maternity and inpatient wards.
• Lead, develop and motivate the nursing workforce through training, career development, succession planning and partnerships with nursing education institutions.
• Lead infection prevention and control programmes to minimise healthcare-associated risks and protect patients, staff and visitors.
• Oversee nursing operations, manpower, departmental budgets, equipment procurement, maintenance and resource allocation to achieve effective and cost-efficient services.
• Maintain nursing policies, clinical standards, documentation and practices in accordance with statutory, Ministry of Health, health and safety, and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with medical leadership, doctors, internal departments and external stakeholders while managing patient/doctor feedback and driving continuous improvement in hospital services.
