Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a seasoned Risk Governance & Conduct Management professional in Singapore. The role focuses on aligning risk practices with regulatory requirements, and partnering with stakeholders to design and implement robust governance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of risk management principles, strong analytical abilities, and extensive experience in compliance within the banking sector.

Qualifications

• Degree holders in risk management or related fields.
• Audit, compliance or risk management experience is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
• Good understanding of retail banking products and related regulations such as MAS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance of the consumer banking business, covering risk governance, market conduct requirements and cross-border compliance matters.
• Actively engage business units to identify market conduct and cross-border compliance risks and work to establish policies to mitigate gaps.
• Create awareness and advise partners on market conduct and cross-border compliance matters; participate in cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate to operationalize regulatory requirements, including digitalisation project needs.
• Conduct training on relevant compliance matters and cross-border marketing guidelines.
• Support Divisional Compliance Officer responsibilities; disseminate regulatory updates to the right internal parties.
• Ensure updates are adequately assessed to ensure full compliance by CFS as a whole.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across all lines of defense.
• Prepare management reports to update senior management.
