Job summary

Singapore Management University invites applications for a Programme & Event Manager to lead BFI programmes, coordinate events, and ensure smooth delivery from planning to post-event follow-up.

You will liaise with faculty, partners and vendors, manage registrations, communications, and engagement, and maintain documentation and trackers. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in programme or event management.
• Experience in university or stakeholder-facing environment preferred.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with faculty and partners.
• Meticulous, dependable and proactive.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with EDM/CRM/CMS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BFI programmes and events from planning through execution and post-event follow-up.
• Liaise with faculty, speakers, partners, vendors and internal SMU stakeholders to support smooth and timely programme delivery.
• Support participant engagement and experience, including collection and consolidation of programme feedback.
• Maintain accurate programme documentation, trackers and post-event records.
• Coordinate invitations, registrations, engagement tracking and follow-ups for BFI programmes and activities.
• Work with relevant SMU units on alumni and community engagement initiatives where required.
• Maintain clear records of stakeholder engagements and follow-up actions.
