Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore invites an Electronics Engineering intern to learn about ESD protection devices and their development, gaining hands-on experience with IC product design teams. The role covers experiments, ESD device design for high-voltage applications (12-85V, 100/200V) across 180nm to 28nm CMOS/BCD technologies, and TCAD simulations under mentor guidance.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field during internship.
Must be in good academic standing.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Preferred leadership and project management experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct device design experiments under mentor guidance.
Assist with ESD device design for high-voltage applications (12-85V, 100/200V) across CMOS tech.
Perform TCAD simulations for ESD devices after training.
Support customer ESD inquiries with technical data and reports.
Assist mentor in developing latch-up prevention rules with experimental results.
