Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore invites you to join our Silicon Photonics TD internship. You will work with a TD engineer to prepare documents for process flow setup, summarize inline data (thickness, CD) and test results, and perform data analysis.

This 16–24 week program offers mentorship, hands-on project work, and networking with engineers and leaders while gaining practical experience in semiconductor development.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Optical/Electrical/Semiconductor) or related field during internship
Must be in good academic standing
Available for a 16–24 week internship commencing January 2027
Prior related internship or co-op experience (preferred)
Demonstrated leadership experience in work, school projects or competitions
Project management skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong interest in Silicon Photonics and AI tools to enhance productivity

Responsibilities

Prepare documents for process flow setup under TD Engineer guidance
Summarize inline data (thickness, CD) and Test data and perform analysis
Collaborate with project team to ensure device meets specifications and verify performance
Perform other duties as assigned based on project progress
