Job summary

Sephora SEA in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services powering our ERP systems across product management, order management, inventory control and last-mile delivery. You will work with Java, Ruby on Rails and/or Golang, deploy to cloud platforms, use Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to scalable ecommerce features while participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend/full-stack development experience.
• Strong foundation in software engineering and problem solving.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails or an equivalent backend framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for ERP systems.
• Develop microservices and serverless components for ERP workflows.
• Collaborate on delivering new ecommerce features and optimising system performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production incidents.
• Work across cloud infrastructures and improve developer experience (DevEx).
