Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Associate (PSA) for the Emergency Department to provide frontline administrative and service support in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with patients, visitors and healthcare teams to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The role requires a Diploma or NITEC/Higher NITEC and prior customer service experience is advantageous. Shift work across a 6-day week, including weekends and public holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC/Higher NITEC in any discipline.
• Prior experience in customer service or frontline operations desirable.
• Willingness to work 3 rotating shifts over 6 days, including weekends/public holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable using IT systems and applications.
• Calm, organised and responsive in a busy Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the registration of patients and visitors.
• Handle billing, payment collection and related administrative matters.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage calls, emails and other correspondence.
• Support observation ward operations and prepare medical documents for doctors’ review.
• Coordinate patient admissions and discharges.
• Attend to patient and visitor enquiries and provide assistance.
• Work with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient service operations.
