is seeking a 12-month contract role to support the Equities business from an Operations and Client Services perspective, focusing on trade lifecycle management, client onboarding, risk control, and process improvement. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth post-trade processes, resolve operational issues, and enhance the client experience in a dynamic investment banking environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building skills to interact effectively with both internal and external clients.
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving with a focus on mitigating operational risks.
• Experience with automation and workflow improvement or willingness to drive it.

Responsibilities

• Trade Lifecycle Management: Handling trade allocation, pre-matching, and fails management to ensure successful settlement of client transactions.
• Client Service: Serving as a primary contact for clients regarding trade execution queries and complex transaction requests.
• Risk & Control: Mitigating risk by ensuring timely controls, maintaining accurate books and records, and regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement: Driving automation, improving straight-through processing (STP) rates, and scaling workflows for increasing volumes.
• Collaboration: Working with sales, trading, technology, and compliance teams to resolve trade issues and develop new products or market entries.

About The Role

This 12-month contract role supports the Equities business from an Operations and Client Services perspective, focusing on trade lifecycle management, client onboarding, risk control, and process improvement. The incumbent will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth post-trade processes, resolve operational issues, and enhance the overall client experience. The role offers exposure to cash equities operations, client servicing, and operational risk management within a dynamic investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Lifecycle Management: Handling trade allocation, pre-matching, and fails management to ensure successful settlement of client transactions

• Client Service: Serving as a primary contact for clients regarding trade execution queries and complex transaction requests.

• Risk & Control: Mitigating risk for the firm by ensuring controls are performed timely, maintaining accurate books and records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Process Improvement: Driving automation, enhancing straight-through processing (STP) rates, and increasing the scalability of workflows to support growing business volumes.

• Collaboration: Working with sales, trading, technology, and compliance teams to resolve trade issues and develop new products or market entries.
