Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. seeks an experienced Equity Front Office Business Analyst / Project Manager to support trading application projects for a leading global investment bank. You will work with Front Office users, Technology, Operations, and regional stakeholders across Singapore and Japan.

The role combines deep business analysis with project management for small to medium initiatives, emphasizing agile and waterfall delivery, requirements gathering, and end-to-end traceability.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Capital Markets analysis within Equities.
• Strong experience engaging Front Office traders, sales, and business stakeholders.
• Proven track record shaping BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process flows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Equities Front Office to capture business needs and translate into functional requirements.
• Lead requirement workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Create BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and detailed process flows.
• Collaborate with Technology across the SDLC to ensure design and delivery.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production readiness activities.
• Manage traceability and drive process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate small to medium regulatory, business, and technology initiatives.
• Develop project plans, track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
