Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd invites a seasoned Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead end-to-end transformation programmes within Corporate & Investment Banking. You will drive business and functional studies, governance, planning, budgeting, target architecture, migration, and testing strategy, delivering projects on time and to specification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in BA, PM or Transformation within Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience delivering end-to-end CIB transformation projects with BA and PM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of Front-to-Back-to-Finance lifecycle.
• Hands-on knowledge of Trade Processing, Front Office/Booking, Settlement, Accounting, Risk & P&L or Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery as both BA and PM.
• Lead business and functional studies, scope, gap analysis, and requirements.
• Coordinate Study Lead activities across Front/Middle/Back Office, Finance, Risk, and Technology.
• Prepare BRDs, functional requirements, and study deliverables.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business analyst / Project manager to lead end-to-end transformation projects within a Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business and functional studies, programme governance, planning, budgeting, target architecture definition, migration and testing strategy, and overall project delivery.

The role requires strong Front-to-Back-to-Finance functional knowledge, particularly across trade processing, booking, documentation, settlement, accounting, risk, P&L, reconciliation and regulatory reporting. Experience in CIB products, particularly Equity Derivatives such as Total Return Swaps (TRS) and Structured Derivatives, will be highly advantageous.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery, acting as both Business Analyst and Project Manager across the complete project lifecycle.
• Lead the business and functional study, including scope definition, current-state assessment, target-state definition, gap analysis and business requirements.
• Act as the Study Lead, driving the Front-to-Back study and coordinating stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk and Technology.
• Prepare and consolidate Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements and study deliverables.
• Prepare and manage project planning, budgets, estimates, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements.
• Lead the migration study, defining migration scope, approach, strategy, planning, dependencies and execution roadmap.

Job Requirement:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management or Transformation within Banking / Financial Services. Overall exp not more than 20 years.
• Must have Strong experience delivering end-to-end CIB transformation projects involving both Business Analysis and Project Management responsibilities.
• Must have Strong functional understanding of the Front-to-Back-to-Finance lifecycle.
• Hands-on knowledge of : Trade Processing or Front Office / Booking Systems or Trade Documentation or Middle & Back Office Operations or Settlement or Accounting or Risk & P&L or Reconciliation or Regulatory Reporting
• Proven experience acting as a Study Lead / Business Study Lead, driving current-state assessment, target-state definition, gap analysis and requirements gathering.

Good To Have:

• Strong CIB product knowledge, particularly in Equity Derivatives.
• Experience with Total Return Swaps (TRS) and Structured Derivatives.
• Experience working on Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Finance transformation programmes.
• Exposure to trade lifecycle transformation and system migrations.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and financial control processes.
