Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Technician (Evergreen) to perform maintenance and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment used in our semiconductor manufacturing lines. You will work closely with engineers, use diagnostic tools, and may implement equipment modifications as directed.

A Diploma in Engineering and hands-on maintenance experience are essential. Relocation not specified; rotating 12-hour shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Knowledge of AI tools and application.
• Leveraging AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable.
