Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Technician (Evergreen) to perform maintenance and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment used in our semiconductor manufacturing lines. You will work closely with engineers, use diagnostic tools, and may implement equipment modifications as directed.

A Diploma in Engineering and hands-on maintenance experience are essential. Relocation not specified; rotating 12-hour shifts may be required.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Knowledge of AI tools and application.
Leveraging AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable.
