Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking Equipment Technicians to monitor, sustain, and improve tools in the MSB area. You will work with Shift Operations, perform preventive maintenance, and apply mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, experience in equipment maintenance, knowledge of semiconductor processes, and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift at our Bendemeer Road site (MSB, 990 Bendemeer Rd, Singapore 339942).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering. Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
