Job summary

China Communications Constructions Company Limited (Singapore Branch) - Surge is seeking an engineer to support process equipment and instrumentation on Oil & Gas/LNG projects. You will review vendor docs, coordinate with vendors and project teams, and assist in site activities and commissioning.

The role includes preparing progress reports, technical summaries, and handover documentation, with opportunities to progressively take on site/vendor responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Process, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Process Plant or EPC projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of process equipment and/or instrumentation; vendor coordination experience is an advantage.
• Strong ability in follow-up, progress tracking, coordination and summarising information.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to process equipment and instrumentation for Oil & Gas / LNG projects.

• Support vendor review/inspection, technical clarification and follow-up of outstanding issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress updates, technical summaries, meeting minutes and follow-up reports.
• Support site activities and gradually take responsibility as a site/vendor representative when required.
• Participate project pre-commissioning/commissioning, startup activities and coordinate with vendor, construction and commissioning team on equipment and instrument.
• Coordinate and support the site construction record collection and final documentation handover to OWNER.
