Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (Singapore Branch) is seeking a site-focused engineer to support oil & gas, LNG and EPC projects. You will assist with equipment and instrumentation documents, coordinate with vendors and project teams, and help prepare progress reports.

Based in Jurong East, you will participate in commissioning activities, support site construction records, and act as a site/vendor representative when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Process, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Process Plant or EPC projects.
• Basic knowledge of equipment and instrumentation design; vendor coordination experience is an advantage.
• Strong follow-up, progress tracking, coordination and summarising information skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities related to process equipment and instrumentation for Oil & Gas / LNG projects.
• Review and follow up on equipment/instrumentation documents, vendor documents and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineering disciplines and project teams on equipment and instrumentation matters.
• Support vendor review/inspection, technical clarification and follow-up of outstanding issues.
• Prepare weekly progress updates, technical summaries, meeting minutes and follow-up reports.
• Support site activities and gradually take responsibility as a site/vendor representative when required.
• Participate project pre-commissioning/commissioning, startup activities and coordinate with vendor, construction and commissioning team on equipment and instrument.
• Coordinate and support the site construction record collection and final documentation handover to OWNER.
