Equipment Engineer, Wets (12hr shift)

Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a maintenance engineer to uphold safety, quality and reliability of semiconductor equipment. You will lead corrective and preventive activities, supervise a PM team, and liaise with vendors for parts and servicing.

A degree in engineering and exposure to wafer fab environments are preferred. Ideal candidates will be proactive, collaborative, and able to communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in Semiconductor / Wafer Fab cleanroom equipment will be an advantage.
• Experience in Wafer Prober will be preferred.
• Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication with Peers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability
• Supervise shift PM team to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
• Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner
• Implement, recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program, to ensure it achieved expected results
• Carry out and recommend action plans to reduce cost of equipment maintenance activities
• Liaise with Equipment Vendors and third Party Suppliers in procuring necessary parts to carry out installation and servicing of Equipment.
