Equipment Engineer, Wets (12hr shift)

Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a maintenance-focused engineer to uphold safety, reliability, and quality across wafer fabrication equipment. You will lead shift PMs, perform corrective actions, and coordinate with vendors for parts and servicing.

The role requires a degree in engineering and experience with wafer fab equipment. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, with a commitment to continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in Semiconductor / Wafer Fab cleanroom equipment.
• Experience in Wafer Prober preferred.
• Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication with Peers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specifications.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates within specification and reliability.
• Supervise shift PM team to ensure designated tasks are performed per spec.
• Perform and follow up preventive maintenance and calibration per procedures on time.
• Implement and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability programs to achieve results.
• Carry out and recommend actions to reduce maintenance costs.
• Liaise with equipment vendors and third-party suppliers for parts, installation and servicing.

YOUR ROLE

• Ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability
• Supervise shift PM team to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
• Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner
• Implement, recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program, to ensure it achieved expected results
• Carry out and recommend action plans to reduce cost of equipment maintenance activities
• Liaise with Equipment Vendors and third Party Suppliers in procuring necessary parts to carry out installation and servicing of Equipment.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in Semiconductor / Wafer Fab cleanroom equipment will be an advantage
• Experience in Wafer Prober will be preferred
• Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication with Peers
