Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Mechanical/Mechatronics Design Lead to guide a design team focused on semiconductor equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and design quality.

You will lead reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive reliability, cost control, and alignment with product goals.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of design experience in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience leading and mentoring an engineering team.
• Ability to work independently and communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical design team and ensure schedules.
• Lead design reviews with internal design team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to resolve system issues.
• Provide technical support and solutions to product inquiries.

• Conduct transforming, conceptualization and design review session with internal design team
• Continuous review, development, enhance and improve company product
• Work with cross-functional engineers to resolve system issues
• Provide technical support and solutions to product inquiry

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• More than 8 years of design experience with strong expertise in semiconductor equipment
• Lead and manage an engineering team, providing guidance and field support
• Ability to work independently with high level of motivation and communications with all levels
• Manage project timeline, resources, and cost.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure design quality, reliability, and compliance.
• Align engineering work with business and product goals
