Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking an Equipment Engineer to oversee process equipment, chillers and dry vacuum pumps, and to manage spare parts and PM programs. You will also handle FDC/IOT systems, network awareness, and lead continuous improvement projects while coaching technicians.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical.
• Attention to detail and good analytical and problem solving skills.
• High commitment and good team player.
• Ability to think out of box.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Preferably with project lead experience with good planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage process equipment chiller and Dry vacuum pumps.
• Manage spare parts for Dry vacuum pump and chiller group.
• Chiller and Pump PM management and creation of PM procedure.
• Manage FDC & IOT system, good understanding of networking using LAN or Wireless technology.
• Systematic troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize downtime.
• Establish effective preventive maintenance program and troubleshooting guide.
• Coordinate and drive new equipment abatements/chiller hookup, startup and release.
• Drive CIP projects to achieve best in class in quality and cost.
• Train and coach PM Technician in systematic troubleshooting and PM maintenance skills.
• Manage a small group of technicians.
