Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Engineer to oversee chiller and dry vacuum pump systems, manage spare parts, and develop preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.

You will train and coach technicians, coordinate abatements and hookups, and drive continuous improvement projects to achieve best-in-class quality and cost; strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical.
• 2+ years' experience in Abatement and scrubber systems; diploma holder with >5 years also considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage process equipment chiller and dry vacuum pumps.
• Manage spare parts for Dry vacuum pump and chiller group.
• Chiller and Pump PM management and creation of PM procedure.
• Manage FDC & IOT system, good understanding of networking using LAN or Wireless technology.
• Systematic troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.
• Establish effective preventive maintenance program and troubleshooting guide.
• Coordinate and drive new equipment Abatements/chiller hookup, startup and release.
• Drive Continuous Improvement project (CIP) to achieve best in class in quality and cost
• Train and coach PM Technician in systematic troubleshooting and PM maintenance skill.
• Manage a small group of technicians.

YOUR ROLE

As an Equipment Engineer in STM Singapore, you will be responsible to:

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical
• At least 2 year relevant Abatement and scrubber system working experience. Diploma holder with >5years relevant experience will be considered too.
• Attention to detail and have good analytical and problem solving skills
• High commitment and good team player
• Ability to think out of box.
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Preferably with project lead experience with good planning skills
