Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an Equipment Engineer in Singapore to sustain equipment performance, reliability, and quality for production needs. You will engage cross-functional teams across Process, Operations, PM and Quality to resolve issues, initiate, and drive projects focused on cost and productivity.

The role involves working with sensors and micro-controllers for real-time monitoring and fault detection.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics / Electrical / IoT / Network.
• Experience with sensor projects and real-time monitoring & alarms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment; installation and commissioning with vendors; real-time monitoring via sensors.

Responsibilities

• Sustain equipment performance, reliability and quality for production KPI.

YOUR ROLE

The role as an Equipment engineer within team of 8-10pax to sustain the equipment performance Reliability & Robustness , Quality for Production needs. To be able to engage cross functional teams (eg. Process / Operation / PM /Quality) within the Diffuion Module in resolving issues , initiaite and drive projects (Cost / Productivity) involving different nationalities .

Your Skills & Experiences

• Degree in Electronics / Electrical / IOT / Network
• Experience with projects in Sensor and real time monitoring & alarm .
• Responsible for designing and developing solutions to improve equipment robustness & reliability To sustain the equipment optimal performance at defined KPI complying safety requirements . To do presentations Technical competency to troubleshoot and repair equipment , involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment with equipment vendors Equipment performance real time monitoring through sensors via micro-controllers (eg. STM32) / Raspberry Pi computers as part of FDC (Fault Detection Control) .
