Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Equipment Specialist to install, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety, quality and uptime.

You will act as Tool Owner, lead corrective and preventive maintenance, drive reliability improvements, and coordinate with vendors to procure parts, while contributing to cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics required.
  • Fresh graduates welcome in relevant engineering fields.
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install new and transferred equipment and ensure safety and quality.
  • Perform corrective maintenance to meet specs and reliability.
  • As Tool Owner, supervise tasks to meet specifications.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and calibration per procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and results.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers for parts.

YOUR ROLE
  • Perform and follow up Equipment installation of new and transferred equipment and ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
  • Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability
  • Supervise, in the capacity of Tool Owner, to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
  • Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner
  • Implement , recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program, to ensure it achieved expected results
  • Carry out and recommend action plans to reduce cost of equipment maintenance activities
  • Liaise with Equipment Vendors and third Party Suppliers in procuring necessary parts to carry out installation and servicing of Equipment.
Your Skills & Experiences
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience
  • Fresh Graduates in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience in Semiconductor / Wafer Fab cleanroom equipment will be an advantage
  • Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication with Peers
