Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior professional to lead the EPI and Thermal Processes team, driving stability, improvements and process qualification. You will coordinate with global Technology counterparts, manage resources and documentation, and ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets for wafer production.

The role requires a strong engineering background with >5 years in EPI/Thermal processes, proven leadership, and hands-on problem-solving skills using DOE/FMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related sciences; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EPI and Thermal processes with >5 years’ experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for EPI and Thermal Processes i.e. Poly, RTA, LTO and drive for process stability and improvements with his/her team.
• Decides on actions to resolve issues/defects related to EPI and Thermal Processes to ensure wafer quality, quantity and cost.
• Manage the EPI and Thermal Process Teams; plan resources to meet objectives.
• Responsible for administration of staff-related matters in addition to process scope.
• Approve and change documents per internal signature regulations.
• Collaborate with Technology counterparts globally on process alignment and qualification of new processes, suppliers and consumables.
• Apply problem solving methods (8D, Fishbone, DOE) and risk analysis (FMEA).
• Supervise documentation for the section including manufacturing docs, training, SPC manuals, FMEAs, etc.
• Contribute to safety improvements in production and environment goals; update JHAs as needed.
• Summarize activities in monthly reports to supervisor.
• Directly reports to Head of Dept / Director / VP Technology.
