Job summary

Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is seeking an Assistant Manager, Land Management (Environmental Team) to support environmental goals through policy development and project oversight. You will work with stakeholders across public and private sectors to inform land management decisions while ensuring environmental standards are met.

The role involves leading soil and groundwater assessments, developing data frameworks, and coordinating tenders and procurement while monitoring budgets.

Qualifications

• Background in Environment Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience in environmental assessment or soil/ groundwater work is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental projects including soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.
• Develop environmental quality standards for Singapore's land management.
• Contribute to policies and frameworks for land and environmental management.
• Develop and maintain a database of environmental quality data.
• Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, consultants and stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-agency collaboration on environmental initiatives.
• Prepare tender documents and manage procurement for consultants and contractors.
• Manage project finances including budget tracking and forecasting.
