Job summary

Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is seeking a Manager/ Head, Land Sale (Private) to lead the team handling State land transactions, leasehold matters, and policy formulation.

You will coordinate with government agencies and external partners, evaluate applications for strategic land use, and guide submissions for land sales and policy development. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in estate management or related land/lease work.
• Strong communication and writing abilities.
• Proven people leadership and team management experience.
• Analytical, meticulous, and performance-driven with good admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team responsible for State land transactions and leasehold matters.
• Coordinate with government agencies and external parties on lease issues.
• Evaluate applications to alienate State land for strategic use.
• Guide submissions for land sales, including valuations and approvals.
• Review land policy and enhance value through betterment charges.
• Approve consent for mortgage, sale, or subletting applications.
• Oversee lease extensions, surrender, and re-issuance processes.
• Govern policy on State leases and develop new land policies.
• Monitor work processes and manage governance and risk at team level.
