Job summary

ALPSOFT TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Desktop Support professional to provide on-site technical assistance, including installation, repair, and maintenance of solutions per manufacturer specifications. The role covers site inspections through to final sign-off and acceptance.

The candidate will diagnose equipment, apply updates, and perform remote diagnostics as needed, with responsibilities for inventory and office relocations. No prior experience required, suitable for fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
• No experience welcome
• Technical skills in Microsoft Windows, desktop hardware, desktop software application and network environments

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support at customer’s site, including installation, repair and maintenance of solutions per manufacturer specs
• Conduct installations based on customer requirements and company specifications from site inspection to sign-off
• Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and ensure updates/patches are applied on-site or via remote diagnostics
• Initiate escalation procedures and follow up on all open requests to ensure customer satisfaction
• First level troubleshooting of network connectivity in LAN/WAN environments
• Track hardware and software inventory and report to asset management regularly
• Assist in user/hardware movement and office relocations
• Maintain defective equipment/parts in maintenance inventory and restock spare parts
