Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Support Officer at Changi Airport to coordinate with baggage control teams, ensuring smooth start-of-shift operations for arrivals, departures and transfers. You will work with the Baggage Coordinator and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors on shift priorities and reporting.

The role demands strong analytical and communication skills, plus excellent stakeholder management and a customer‑service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operations environment.
• Ability to quickly evaluate large amounts of information.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Well-developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Class 3/3A driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Baggage Coordinator (BC) and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors for start-of-shift focus at the BHA.
• Ensure daily manning levels of the GHA for arrival, departure, and transfer handling.
• Prepare and send various reports/SitReps to the Baggage Coordinator.
• Ensure the BHA is kept clean and tidy in coordination with FM External and other stakeholders.
• Report to FMC for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.
• Close coordination with all stakeholders in the BHA.

• - Day Shift (830am-830pm), followed by Night Shift (830pm-830am) and rest 2 days

• - Location: Changi Airport

• - Contract: 1 year (renewable)

• - Salary: UP to $2,850

Job Scope

• Coordinate with the Baggage Coordinator (BC) and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors for any areas to focus on during start of shift at the BHA.

• Ensure daily manning levels of the GHA for arrival, departure, and transfer handling are sufficient.

• Prepare and send various reports/SitReps to the Baggage Coordinator to collate and report.

• Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.

• Report to FMC for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.

• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.

• Close coordination with all stakeholders in the BHA.

Requirements

• Experience in an operations environment and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to quickly evaluate large amounts of information and come up with sound decisions under time constraints.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Well-developed customer service and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Airline/Airport apron and/or baggage operations an asset.

• Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Class 3/3A driving license required
