Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced GIS Specialist / GIS-Focused Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise geospatial platforms and systems.

You will support architecture design, cloud migration, system upgrades, and infrastructure modernisation while ensuring reliability and scalability of GIS services. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in GIS platform design and enterprise architecture.
• Experience migrating GIS workloads to the cloud and upgrading systems.
• Knowledge of government tech directions, cybersecurity requirements and secure-by-design principles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise geospatial platforms and related systems.
• Support architecture design, cloud migration, system upgrades, infrastructure modernisation, and operational readiness.
• Plan and execute GIS platform upgrades, cloud migrations, system refreshes, disaster recovery exercises, and security initiatives.
• Design GIS patterns including REST APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms; ensure secure access and identity management.
• Manage geospatial data architectures, metadata, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with vendors on implementation, upgrades, and service delivery.
