Job summary

JUST RECRUIT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive the technology architecture and IT roadmap. You will partner with business leaders, technology teams, and external stakeholders to define standards, evaluate emerging tech and design scalable, secure enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes cloud architecture, modern application technologies and translating business requirements into practical tech solutions for enterprise-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering or related.
• 8+ years IT experience with deep enterprise systems.
• 2–3 years in architecture, design, deployment of distributed cloud apps.
• Experience with Azure, GCP or Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies and architectures.
• Familiar with SDLC methods and project delivery.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, MSA, cybersecurity, AI/ML, Big Data, real-time analytics, serverless, DevOps, cloud migration, and app modernisation.
• Able to translate business needs into architecture and technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of technology landscape, business goals, and strategy.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the development and evolution of our enterprise technology architecture and IT roadmap.

You will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, architects and external stakeholders to define architecture standards, evaluate emerging technologies and design scalable, secure and resilient enterprise solutions.

The successful candidate should have strong experience in enterprise-grade systems, cloud architecture and modern application technologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's technology environment, business requirements and strategic objectives.

• Provide architecture guidance, standards, best practices and technical recommendations across enterprise initiatives.

• Support the development and implementation of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks and technology standards.

• Design and review scalable, resilient, secure and highly available system architectures.

• Conduct architecture design reviews, resiliency assessments and technical optimisation.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies and blockers and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.

• Ensure solutions comply with architecture governance, security baselines and applicable frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.

• Research emerging technologies and assess their potential application within the organisation.

• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable solutions.

• Support application modernisation, cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of the Enterprise IT Roadmap, translating strategic objectives into actionable technology plans.

• Participate in Architecture Committee meetings and engage internal and external technical stakeholders and subject matter experts.

• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, platforms, architecture practices and engineering standards.

• Prepare and contribute to technical papers, architecture documents, enterprise reports and presentations.

• Support multiple projects concurrently and collaborate with stakeholders across different business and technology functions.

• Engage senior stakeholders, including management and C-level stakeholders, on technology strategy and architecture matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience.

• At least 4–5 years of deep technical experience working with enterprise-grade systems.

• At least **2–3 years of experience in architecture, design, implementation and/or support of highly distributed cloud applications.

• Experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as:

  • Microsoft Azure

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Alibaba Cloud

• Strong understanding of modern web technologies, application architectures, programming languages and frameworks.

• Good understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and technology project delivery.

• Experience with modern technologies such as:

  • Kubernetes

  • Kafka

  • Microservices Architecture (MSA)

  • Cybersecurity

  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

  • Big Data

  • Real-time analytics
